Good Citizen Award for Dogs

Right from the start, we are looking at what commands the dogs already know, and using clicker training to help them achieve a good knowledge of all the basic commands which will make life easier!

The Good Citizen Award at LAA is a bit like the one run by the Kennel Club. There are three levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – and at each level the dog and handler have a number of commands they must demonstrate.

Training is a great way to build a bond between the dog and their carer, as well as improving their confidence. You will find the certificates for each dog’s process displayed proudly on their kennel!
