In addition to our core work rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs, we run services for the wider community that reflect our vision of happy pets in loving, responsible homes.
Our Community Pet Support Scheme helps elderly disabled and housebound pet owners care for their companion animals in their own homes. This prevents well-loved animals from entering Rescue unnecessarily and helps to prevent loneliness in our local community.
Did you know that we offer a pet microchipping service to the general public? You can find out more about this important aspect of responsible pet care below.
Here at LAA, we have years of experience looking after cats and dogs. While we would always recommend seeking the advice of a vet for medical issues, we actively welcome phone calls and emails from those seeking advice on behaviour, diet or any other aspect of their pet’s care. You don’t have to have adopted one of our animals to take advantage of our free advice.
