Fundraising Musician hits all the Right Notes

In the run-up to Christmas, animal lover (and dog adopter) David Day raised funds for our cats and dogs by playing the piano to customers visiting Keith Hall's hairdressing salon in Leicester.

Blissed-out staff members and customers enjoying a little pampering ahead of the big day were serenaded with seasonal classics, show tunes and Gershwin numbers by the talented pianist from Barrow upon Soar.

LAA would like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Keith and all Keith's customers for their kindness and generosity. Over the Christmas period, £156.56 was raised.

Dave says, "I thoroughly enjoyed raising the money for such a fantastic cause. I hope the people listening to my playing felt the same!"

It seems to us that music and fundraising are a match made in heaven. If there are any other musicians out there who could help our animals with a little stint on the old joanna (or any other musical instrument, be it a solo performance or ensemble) please do get in touch. We can supply collection buckets, branded items and all kinds of ideas and help. Potential fundraisers can also download our fundraising pack here.

Thanks, Dave and thanks, Keith!
