Young supporter turns hobby into fundraiser

We have been truly overwhelmed by the support given to us during these difficult and challenging times.  It has been really heart-warming to see how much the younger generation care for animals and want to raise money to help.

In these past months, we have seen our young supporters raise money for us in different and innovative ways.  This has included doing chores round the house in return for pocket money, making face masks and most recently, making and selling braclets.

Eliza from Littlethorpe is just nine years old and decided that she wanted to help animals in need local to her. She did some research and found that we were near to where she lived.  She turned her love of making loom bands into a fundraiser for LAA.

She made more than 30 colourful bands and sold them by setting up a table and making a poster. In total she raised just over £30.  She popped in to the Centre to drop the money off and our new girl, Jessie a 2 year old Greyhound, came out to say a special thank you.

We want to say a massive thank you to Eliza and all our amazing supporters.  We couldn't do it without you!
