Huncote Hound Club plants trees

The Huncote Hound Club members had lots of pawsome fun at their activity morning.  The youngsters cooked up a storm in the kitchen, making yummy pupcakes for our residents and chocolate nest cakes which were eaten before they could take them home!

The children also planted trees as part of the Woodland Trust's free trees for the community scheme. They were very excited to see the daffodils they planted in the Autumn in full bloom.

As well as taking a tour of the Centre to see the dogs and cats the children got to meet Mabel, a three-year-old Pug cross Beagle.

The Huncote Hound Club is for animal lovers aged 16 and under and is just £8 a year. Members get a certificate, pin badge, quarterly newsletter and an invitation to join in our activity mornings held four times a year.
