To celebrate L.A.A. turning 70 we have produced a very special book charting the fascinating history of the Charity, from humble beginnings in our founder, Dorothea Farndon's home, to the strong and thriving rehoming Centre we are today.
The book, Telling More 'Tails' - A History of Leicester Animal Aid, 70th Anniversary Edition 1956 - 2026, is an updated version of the one that we brought out for our 50th anniversary, with new information, new photos and even more heartwarming stories. Dr Sue Ablett, a long-term friend and supporter of L.A.A. wrote both books.
