Volunteer Supermarket Collector

This role is ideal for you if you want a more flexible approach to volunteering, rather than having to commit to set days and times.

If you have access to a car and live close to the supermarket we are recruiting for and are happy to travel to our Centre in Huncote, then this could be the volunteering role for you.

About the role

We have more than 12 donation points which are kindly hosted by local shops and supermarkets in different locations across Leicestershire. They are usually in blue branded and painted wheelie bins near to the checkouts.

The main items donated are cat and dog food, toys and cleaning equipment. The donated items are collected by volunteers who drop the items off at our Centre in Huncote. The number of visits depends on the size of the store.

We are currently looking for a volunteer to collect donations from Sainsbury's in Wigston. This currently needs emptying every other week.
