What can be recycled?
We work with an organisation called Recycling for Good Causes. They reuse and recycle jewellery (precious metal and costume) watches and banknotes from any country no matter how old (no coins please) and give the proceeds to us. Even old jewellery that is broken or missing stones, and single earrings, can be donated.
How do I recycle the items?
Just pop your unwanted items in an envelope or jiffy bag (no bigger than A5 in size) and use the freepost label that you can download here to send off your items in the post. We also have some recycling envelopes (A5) at the Centre, so please call us if you'd like one sending out. You can also drop off your items at the Centre and we will send them off for you. If you have more items than will fit into an A5 sized envelope then please call Recycling for Good Causes on 0800 633 5323 or email customerservices@recyclingforgoodcauses.org to find out more.
Used stamps
In addition to working with Recycling for Good Causes, we also collect all kinds of stamps, on or off paper. Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don't damage the stamp. Once you have a collection of them you can either drop them off at the Centre or pop them in an envelope, making sure you have the correct postage to: Leicester Animal Aid, PO Box 16992, Sutton Coldfield, B73 9YA.

We gratefully welcome donations of: toys and games; bric-a-brac; jewellery; adult clothing; children's clothing; pet items; books (paperbacks); soft furnishings; household items; shoes; bags; garden items; craft items; toiletries; jigsaws; greetings cards.
