‘Ernie’ here! Loving life to the max and getting lots of attention for it! My cheeky ways have made me well known at the centre and I will certainly be looking for an experienced Bulldog owner as well as someone who has dealt with guarding behaviour as well! I may be a quirky lad but my new owners need to be confident to understand me and my ways and accept this is me! Obviously with my breed I do struggle in the warmer weather and can’t go for long walks but I am still a young and energetic boy within the home, needing a lot of stimulation.
I’m not a great fan of the vet and will be requiring an adult home without any other pets or visiting children. I love my footballs and toys so ensure I have plenty on hand as I will entertain myself but do not try to take them away from me. I will play with you, but this is on my terms and I am starting to learn drop and swap. The same goes for when I am settled in my bed, please wait until I am up and about rather than waking me up. I have no recall at all and probably will never turn my listening ears on as I enjoy being cheeky so do keep me on lead when we are out and about.
