Rehome a dog

Important changes

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have changed the way we operate for the remainder of 2020 so you won't be able to look round the Centre to view our dogs as you would do under normal circumstances. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please fill in an "Interested Parties Form" or give the Centre a call.

About Percy

‘Percy Pig’ here! When it comes to food I am certainly a little piggy and it will be gone in a flash! I’m at that height too where I can see on to surfaces! Quite a couch potato once I have settled in to a new environment I do enjoy relaxing and get very excited when it's play time or walkies! I love running around with my squeakies and tennis balls but do prefer short potters due to an old injury from my racing days.

I'm a shy and reserved boy who certainly needs some confidence building and to open my social circle a bit more. I can get a little anxious when left so please be patient with me and ensure I have the TV or radio as I do get a little nervous when I hear unfamiliar sounds. I love spending time with the other Greyhounds here but I’d prefer to live on my own as I don’t like other dogs going near my bed. Meeting and greeting out on the park though would be great but ensure I’m kept on lead and muzzled as if I see a small furry I’ll be off and you will be coming with me!

Due to an old Ex racing injury I only require short potters and will need to be on long term pain relief to ensure I am kept in tip top shape!
