Our South Wigston Charity Shop

Charity Shops

We have two charity shops selling pretty much everything including clothes, children's toys, books, handbags and crockery.  Both shops are full of goodies at great prices and new stock is constantly arriving so there's always a fantastic bargain to be had!

Our onsite shop is open from 10am until 2.30pm seven days a week.

Our South Wigston shop, located at 50D Blaby Road, is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 4pm.  On Saturdays it is open from 10am until 3pm.  Please note that at present we are unable to take donations at the Wigston shop.

Special events

A number of times a year we hold a Saturday Mini Market where you can buy furniture, curtains, linens, large jumble and other weird and wonderful things! Take a look at the Events section of our website for the next event.

In November we take over the Village Hall in Blaby for our annual Christmas Bazaar – a sale of epic proportions! If you are looking for a nearly new bargain for a Christmas present, something to wear at the office party or some new-to-you decorations for your tree then this is the place to be. See our Events section for this year’s date.

Donations always gratefully received!

The money we raise from our shops and sale events helps hundreds of dogs and cats each year. However, we couldn’t do it without kind donations of items to sell. So, if you are having a clear out at home, please remember us. You don’t need to call ahead to make a donation at the Centre, you can simply pop your donation into the clearly marked sheds in the carpark during opening hours, but of course we would love for you to call in and say hello too! If you have a large item or a lot of items (perhaps from a house clearance) then it’s a good idea to give us a call so we can make sure there’s plenty of room for your donation, and to help you unload if needed.  As we don't have much storage space at our South Wigston shop we are unfortunately unable to accept donations there.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to collect items, so you would need to be able to transport them to us.
