An amazing afternoon of smiles and waggy tails!

Our Family Fun afternoon was a huge success and raised more than £2,300 which is amazing!

It was so heartwarming in our 70th year to welcome more than 40 dogs adopted from Leicester Animal Aid to our doggy reunion parade, hear their stories and to see them wearing their special rosettes with pride.

The fun dog show had a brilliant turn-out with 118 entries into the seven different dog show classes and young handler round. The judges had such a difficult job deciding on 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and there were so many dogs they just wanted to take home!

The event wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic volunteers and staff, who did everything from setting up, making cakes, serving refreshments, parking, welcoming people on the gate, dog show registration, agility and everything else in between! Thank you you're all amazing. A special thank you goes to our fantastic judges - L.A.A. Ambassador, Barrie Stephen, Chelsea Read and Sue Williamson and to everyone who entered. You were all winners!
