An anniversary surprise to remember!

Leicester Animal Aid was thrilled to share in the good fortune of three lucky Broughton Astley residents who won an amazing £1 million in the Postcode Lottery.

Every month, local charities in each of the Millionaire Street winning areas gets a boost following the prize landing near their doorstep.  Leicester Animal Aid was chosen as one of these charities and awarded an amazing £75,000 by Postcode East of England Trust thanks to funds raised by players of the Postcode Lottery.

This support has come at a crucial time. As we celebrate our 70th year of being there for animals in need, we are seeing more cats and dogs needing help while the cost of providing vital care has continued to rise. This generous award will mean that we can continue to provide compassionate and dedicated professional care in a safe, calm environment

It will help cats and dogs receive essential veterinary treatment, recover from illness and injury, learn how to thrive in a loving environment, build trust and confidence and give them the very best chance of finding a new wonderful lifelong home.
