Family Fun Afternoon & Doggy Reunion - 30th August

Come and celebrate our 70th anniversary with us at our Family Fun afternoon at Huncote Sports & Social Club on Sunday 30th August.

There will be a fun dog show, a full bar in the Club House along with refreshments including cobs, cakes, tea and coffee, stalls, games, ice cream van, have-a-go agility and a special doggy reunion for our former L.A.A. residents.  It's £2 for adults to enter, children and dogs are free and there is free parking.  Card payment facilities are limited so please bring cash if you can.

Stalls

There are still some spaces for stalls (not refreshments/drinks or inflatables) so if you're a craftsperson or have a stall that would appeal to families/pet owners then we'd love to hear from you [email protected].

Former L.A.A. residents' Doggy Reunion

As it's our special birthday, we'd love to welcome our former L.A.A. residents to join us in a special Doggy Reunion parade which will take place before the main dog show at 12.15pm. There will be some complementary goodies for you too!  No need to register just head to the dog show ring.

Fun Dog Show

We're very grateful to Wilson Browne Solicitors for sponsoring the dog show. The winner of each class will receive a trophy and rosette and there will be rosettes for 2nd and 3rd place. Registration opens from 12 until just before your class begins, judging of the first class starts at 1pm. Entry is £2.50 per dog, per class. Friendly dogs are welcome, whether they’re pedigree or crossbreed, small or large, pup or senior, or somewhere in between.

There will also be a special Junior Handler round, just before the main dog show starts. All children will receive a rosette for taking part.

Running order: L.A.A. Doggy Reunion Parade, Special Round Young Handler

1. Golden Oldie (8+), 2. Best Youngster (3 and under), 3. Best Rescue, 4. Waggiest Tail, 5. Best Male, 6. Best Female, 7. All Comers (open to any dog).
