How L.A.A. Members support our animals

Nile, a Cane Corso cross Presa Canario, has been at Leicester Animal Aid nearly all his life, having been rescued as a puppy in January 2023.

He is a sweet, affectionate boy and loves the companionship of other dogs, although sadly he makes friends and then is left behind as they find homes. He’s never lived in a real home and can be nervous but over time he builds up trust and bonds with new people, like our lovely volunteer dog sitters.

We know that the right people will eventually come along for Nile, and until then we’ll continue to care for him, ensuring that he has the best life possible with us.

It’s only thanks to the support of caring and compassionate animal lovers that we can help animals like Nile. Our Members are generous supporters who join our L.A.A family and make sure that dogs like Nile always have someone on their side and the chance to find comfort, safety and a loving home.
