Sophie Flux, the fab trainer who delivers our dog and cat first aid courses, is taking on an epic challenge for 2025 and L.A.A. is one of three lucky charities set to benefit.
Sophie owns the training company Animal Aiders, and also works part time for Suffolk Wildlife Trust. So, animals are as big a part of Sophie's life as they are ours. She is raising funds on Just Giving for L.A.A. , Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Parkinson's UK.
Sophie says, "This year, I'm taking on the challenge of walking, running, cycling, and swimming a total of 2030 miles. Each mile represents the daily commitment we should have to caring for the people, animals, and planet we hold dear. With 2030 marking a pivotal moment for the future of our environment (it's a key year for climate targets) this journey is my way of highlighting the urgent need for all of us to do our part."
"Through this effort, I’m raising awareness and funds for the charities that inspire me—because together, we can make a real impact. I'm fundraising this year for Leicester Animal Aid to support their incredible work in rehoming animals in need. Every donation helps provide shelter, medical care, and love to abandoned or relinquished animals, giving them a second chance. Together, we can make a difference!"
Could you help Sophie to raise funds? Please donate below if you can. Good luck from all of us Sophie; you can do it!
