Change of Charity Status

Leicester Animal Aid was established in 1956 and, since then, it has evolved over the years to be the highly-respected Charity is it today.
Our Trustees have sought advice from solicitors and taken the decision to change the Charity from Unincorporated status to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). This will give us more freedom over our assets and it will help us to recruit Trustees.

Our core aim; to place happy pets in responsible, loving homes, is not affected and neither is our work in the community. We have, however, been allocated a new charity number, 1208254. We will be updating our materials with the new number over the next few months.
