Busy mum of two to tackle Leicester Half Marathon

Busy Mum of two, and animal lover, Laura Reader, is about to tackle the Leicester Half Marathon in aid of our cats and dogs. Laura, who is an experienced runner, will line up with hundreds of other runners on Sunday, 13th October, to run the race which takes in many Leicester landmarks before finally finishing in Victoria Park.
Laura has been training hard, putting in a few 10K runs, in preparation for the big day. What's more, like many of our kind supporters, Laura has a personal connection to the Centre. Laura says,
"My first dog, who lived to 19 years old, 'Kiri', was from Leicester Animal Aid. I am running on her behalf, and for all the other cats and dogs."
