September's Stars of the Month

It’s time to meet our paw-some winners of L.A.A.’s Star of the Month award for September. This accolade celebrates and rewards staff and volunteers who have gone that extra mile, achieved something special, or have given outstanding service.
Charlotte Oakely is our Staff Star of the Month and is part of our amazing kennel team. Charlotte, who started her role in February, is very calm and level-headed especially when under pressure. This really helps in the kennel environment where routines can change suddenly, and you need to adapt quickly. It’s clear that she loves all the dog she works with and is patient, kind and caring. Well done Charlotte.
Anita Kerr is our Volunteer Star of the Month and has volunteered with us for more than two years, helping in the Charity shop and spending time with the dogs. Ziggy, who has been at the Centre for a year, loves to spend time with her. When she’s not with the animals, she’s efficiently sorting through donated goods, cleaning or arranging items! She’s the first to arrive in the morning and always has a big smile to brighten everyone’s day. Anita is an indispensable member of our team – congratulations and well-deserved.
