July's Star of the Month awards

Published 9th July 2024

It's that time again, to announce the L.A.A.'s Star of the Month award winners.  This accolade celebrates and rewards staff and volunteers who have gone that extra mile, achieved something special or have given outstanding service.

It’s time to meet our paw-some winners of L.A.A.’s July Star of the Month award.  This accolade celebrates and rewards staff and volunteers who have gone that extra mile achieved something special or have given outstanding service.

Lucy Juckes is our Volunteer Star of the Month and has been part of the Cattery volunteer team for seven years.  She dedicates time to us every Tuesday and always offers help if the Cattery need extra support on other days.  Lucy absolutely loves the cats, who love her just as much back.  She brightens up the Cattery with her kindness.

This month’s Staff Star of the Month goes to our Fundraising and Comms Assistant, Jane Walters.  The Fundraising Team has had a hectic time recently, with lots going on including events and promoting the Charity’s amazing win at the Pet Plan awards.  Jane has worked hard, as part of the team, to ensure all the events ran smoothly and to raise the profile of the Charity and help to raise much needed funds.

Congratulations Lucy and Jane.
