Leicestershire Round and Hound Partnership

The Leicestershire Round and Hound was creative as a collaborative event between two local charities with the support of the Leicestershire Footpath Association.

On Sunday 14th May 2017, we held the Leicestershire Round and Hound Sponsored Walk to raise money for both charities - attempting to cover the whole of the Leicestershire Round in one day!

During this time, we fell in love with the Leicestershire Round and want to continue to share the beauty of the Leicestershire countryside whilst continuing to challenge people to walk one or all of the sections!

Have a look through the sections, buy the book and discover this fantastic walking route and perhaps choose one or both charities to raise money for in the process!

Leicester Animal Aid has joined up with local charity PROSTAid (registered charity no. 1116935) to share resources and organise an event to raise money for both charities. The money raised will be split equally between LAA & PROSTAid.

PROSTAid was established in 2006 and gives care and support to local men with prostate cancer. They fund two specialist prostate cancer nurses, one in Urology and one in Oncology. They run support groups across Leicestershire and Rutland and raise awareness of cancer amongst local men.
