

Ways of giving
Here’s ten quick and simple ways how you can help the LAA:
- Act on your New Year's resolutions:
- Stop smoking and set up a standing order for £5 per month and still have money spare to support other charities / save up for a holiday
- Get active and fit – become a volunteer dog walker, our dogs will help you shed the pounds
- Way to help financially:
- Set up a standing order for as little as £3 per month - or as much or as little as you can afford – to help meet the running costs
- Become a member for just £15 per year or £10 if over 60.
- Enrol your son or daughter in the Huncote Hound Club for £8
- Sponsor the fostering of an animal so it can have a new home tomorrow for as little as £3 per month - or as much or as little as you can afford – it really makes a difference- the LAA pays all vets bills for life.
- Hire our education centre – For just £7 per evening* you can use our brand new hall with full fitted kitchen for your own meetings
- Set up a legacy donation in your will
- Support our 50th Anniversary celebrations – come along to our special celebration events and have a great day out
- Clear out your cupboards! – by donating unused toys, household items and jewellery for resale in our onsite charity shop, old blankets/towels that can be used as bedding. Drop off at the centre
- Turn your tin cans to cash – drop off your aluminium cans as the LAA – we get money from the council for cans recycled
- Make the most of your spare time and get involved! – the LAA has a wide range of roles available for volunteers to deliver its busy calendar of activities
- Add an extra item or two to your shopping list - Donate food and cleaning products as this really makes a difference and helps keep our running costs down
- Become an animal fosterer – All you need is to be able to offer a kind and loving home and LAA will ensure all vets bills are met for the lifetime of the animal
- Become a local fundraiser for the LAA – our staff can give you ideas, hints and tips on how to run events and what works best
- Ask your friends who may not see the appeal as they are out at work to help with any of the above
