Jump for Fern and Sophie sponsored skydive 2018

21st July 2018 from All day

Nottingham Airfield

Are you ready to take the first step in what could be a giant leap for you and what will mean the world to the most vulnerable of our cats and dogs?

This is your chance to experience the thrill of a lifetime in a tandem skydive which will see you freefalling from 10,000 feet at over 120mph!

Whilst taking part in this breath-taking challenge, you’ll also be helping the adorable Fern and Sophie, and others like them, who are able to enjoy life in a loving forever home thanks to LAA’s Medical Foster Scheme.

Super-cute Yorkshire terrier, Fern, is an incredible 14-years- young and is now spending her twilight years in her medical foster home whilst receiving treatment for her condition which includes high blood pressure.

The lovely, seven-year-old Sophie, who has medication for kidney disease, waited patiently in the Centre for over six-months until her perfect match came along.

It can be incredibly difficult to find dogs and cats like Fern and Sophie homes as potential new owners may be concerned about their condition and be put-off by the expense of an ongoing medical treatment.  The Scheme, which commits to paying the veterinary treatment related to the animal’s condition, is supporting more than 40 cats and dogs in loving homes.

It costs thousands of pounds each year to run the Scheme. In 2017 alone the bill was £7,000.  By taking to the skies you could help raise much-needed funds for the Scheme.

Everything you need to know is in our information pack which you can download below along with our fundraising pack.  You can also book your place online.
