About Seska

Stunning Seska sadly came into the centre as she wasn't enjoying the company of the other animals in the home. Seska is a real darling who loves everybody she meets. She is exceptionally affectionate, and if you are very lucky she may even allow a little tummy rub, which many cat owners will know is very rare!  Although she is approaching her senior years, Seska is showing no signs of slowing down, often taking part in a game of 'chase the string' or 'catch the ball'. As we already know Seska isn't keen on other animals, she will need to be the only pet in her new home. Seska has lived with children before and was OK in their company so she could possibly live with respectful children over the age of 6 years, providing they have had some experience with cats.

Cat Care

Until a cat is settled into a new home it is essential that they are not let outside and as a general guide this would be about four weeks. However, this is dependent on the individual cat.
Whilst a cat is confined to indoors you can introduce new toys for them to play with and chase. Cat nip toys can be especially rewarding. A scratch post will hopefully discourage them from choosing your sofa to sharpen their claws! Regular grooming by you will help to cement the bond between cat and new owner and although cats are known to generally be more independent than a dog, they thrive on companionship and interactive play. Even adult cats can be persuaded to practice their stalking and pouncing skills on an old shoelace, or play hide and seek in a cardboard box!
