Austin, a Lurcher, came to us in 2022 and it was clear that, with the right home and routine, this lovely lad would make someone a great and loyal friend pet. Rehoming centres do tend to have a fair few Lurchers and it isn't always easy for them to stand out from the crowd. However, with a little help from his friends at L.A.A. Austin's charms were advertised far and wide and it wasn't long before his profile started to generate the right kind of interest.
Austin was adopted towards the end of 2022 and spent his first Christmas in his new home warming himself in front of the log burner, waiting for Santa Paws. New mum Beverley says:
"Austin is a very laid-back boy and is super-friendly with everyone he meets. He likes his toys and loves lying in front of the fire at night. He's a very loving dog and loves a cuddle. When you sit on the floor, he always comes and sits on you."
