Lesley Cann will be raising money this year when she takes part in The London Marathon on April 25th 2010.
Lesley who has previously taken part in half marathons is currently training hard every day to get in shape for the 26 mile race across the cobbled streets of London.
Lesley has supported Leicester Animal Aid over the years and the Charity is one which is very close to her heart as she has pets herself.
Sarah Washington Fundraising Manager at the Centre commented, "We are really grateful to Lesley for taking on this challenge and raising the much needed funds to help our animals here. We all wish her every success on the day."
